Keyboard shortcuts

Common operations have keyboard shortcuts:

ActionShortcut
SendCmd/Ctrl+Enter
New requestCmd/Ctrl+N
New collectionCmd/Ctrl+Shift+N
Open workspaceCmd/Ctrl+O
SaveCmd/Ctrl+S
Close active tab; close the window when no tab is openCmd/Ctrl+W
Close windowCmd/Ctrl+Shift+W
Command paletteCmd/Ctrl+P
Focus URL barCmd/Ctrl+L
Toggle sidebarCmd/Ctrl+B
Toggle activity panelCmd/Ctrl+J
Zoom in / out / resetCmd/Ctrl+=, Cmd/Ctrl+-, Cmd/Ctrl+0

Close all tabs has no shortcut; use the menu, command palette, or tab context menu. Bulk-close actions spare pinned tabs.

Switching tabs works two ways: Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Tab cycle in most-recently-used order, while Ctrl+PageDown and Ctrl+PageUp page through them in bar order. Tab switching uses Ctrl on macOS too, because Cmd+Tab belongs to the operating system.

The collection tree is keyboard-navigable on its own — arrow keys, Enter, F2, Delete, and type-ahead. See the interface tour.

The status-bar command-palette and activity-panel buttons surface their shortcuts inline as hints.

Unavailable actions are harmless no-ops. Menu items and shortcuts share the same availability rules, so a disabled menu command cannot be invoked through its shortcut.
