Migrate from Postman
Fetchpier imports Postman v2.x collections and their environment files directly — no conversion tool needed.
1. Export from Postman
Section titled “1. Export from Postman”In Postman, export your collection as Collection v2.1 JSON. If you use Postman environments, export each one as its own JSON file too.
2. Import into Fetchpier
Section titled “2. Import into Fetchpier”- Right-click a folder in the sidebar and choose Import.
- Select the exported collection JSON. Fetchpier detects the Postman format automatically.
- In the wizard, set:
- the collection name (defaults to the collection’s name);
- the conflict strategy for an existing folder — rename, merge, or fail;
- the environment strategy — create a new environment from the file, merge it into the active one, or skip.
3. Review the result
Section titled “3. Review the result”The summary reports how many requests, folders, and environment variables were created, plus any
per-operation warnings. The generated requests are in Fetchpier’s own .http format, so they are
editable like anything you author by hand. See the import overview for the full format
list.
