Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

In short

  • This site has no accounts, no forms and no payments. You read pages and download the app.
  • We don’t store data about you. The site has no database and we don’t keep logs of its visits.
  • No cookies and no analytics. The site sets no cookies of any kind and loads no analytics or tracking tools, so there is no cookie banner.
  • We don’t sell data and don’t use it for advertising.
  • The Fetchpier desktop app is separate from this site and has no telemetry (see The Fetchpier app).

Who is behind the site

Fetchpier is an open-source project by Sincrum. This policy covers the website fetchpier.com, including the documentation under /docs. For anything related to privacy, write to info@sincrum.com.

When you visit a page

The site is static files served by Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront). Like any web server, it receives what your browser sends with each request — IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested and the page you came from — in order to deliver the page. We don’t keep logs of those requests.

When you download the app

The download buttons take you to the project’s GitHub Releases, where GitHub serves the installer. That download is covered by the GitHub Privacy Statement.

No cookies, no analytics

The site doesn’t use cookies — not for analytics, advertising or anything else — and doesn’t load Google Analytics or any other measurement or tracking tool. We don’t know who visits the site or what they click.

What stays in your browser

The only things the site saves are display preferences, in your browser’s own storage. They never leave your device: they aren’t cookies, they aren’t sent to any server and we can’t read them.

The site uses no fingerprinting. Its fonts and scripts are served from its own domain; it loads nothing from third parties.

The Fetchpier app

The desktop app is local-first: your workspaces, requests and environments stay on your machine. It has no telemetry and no account. Apart from the requests you send yourself, its only connection is a version check (an HTTPS request to public.sincrum.com) that runs only when you click Check now in the updates dialog. By default the app reminds you every 15 days by opening the updates dialog; the reminder itself connects to nothing and can be turned off. Like any web request, the check reveals your IP address and user agent to that server. It sends nothing else.

Your choices

  • To remove the saved preferences, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
  • For any question or request about your data, write to info@sincrum.com. Since we don’t hold names, accounts or contact details, there is usually nothing we can link to you.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
